Custom embroidery in Los Angeles
We embroider on our own machines in the Fashion District — caps, polos, button-downs, jackets, fleece, tees and bags. There is no minimum: one piece is a real order. Under a dozen there's a one-time setup charge, from a dozen up there isn't, and we'll tell you before we start if your logo is going to sit better as a print than as stitching.

What we embroider
Caps & beanies
Front panel, both sides and the back. The most common thing we stitch, and the thing embroidery does better than any print process.
Polos & button-downs
Left chest, sleeve, and a back yoke where the garment has one. Corporate staff wear is mostly this.
Jackets & fleece
Left chest plus a full back — heavy fabric takes a dense stitch beautifully.
Tees & hoodies
On midweight and heavier cotton. Read the note further down before you order stitching on a lightweight tee.
Bags, totes & aprons
Canvas takes embroidery well, and a stitched logo on a tote outlives the tote.
How a job runs, and how long it takes
You pick the garment and the locations on the product page and send us your artwork — vector is best, but we work from what you have. We digitize the logo, which means converting it into a stitch file: the path the needle actually takes. You see a proof before anything is sewn. Production runs up to 14 business days from artwork approval, and most jobs land well inside that; pickup on Pico is same-day once it's off the machine, or we ship it.
Artwork that stitches well
Embroidery is thread, not ink, so fine detail and small text are the two things that go wrong. Lettering under a quarter inch tall loses its counters and reads as a blur. Thin hairlines disappear. Gradients and photographs can't be stitched at all — they get approximated into flat blocks of thread, which rarely looks like what you had in mind. Simple, bold marks are what embroidery makes look expensive.
Imprint areas and what each location costs
The maximum finished size at each location, and the per-piece stitching charge. Smaller is always fine — the sizes are ceilings, not targets. The garment is priced separately and shown live on its own page.

Small orders and volume
Under 12 pieces
A one-time $50.00 setup charge on that style, and no minimum at all — one piece is a real order. From 12 up there is no setup charge, so a dozen is the point where a small run stops costing extra.
Volume
Discounts start at a dozen and deepen as the run grows — the exact figure shows on the product page once you put a quantity in.
We don't embroider tees under 5 oz, and we'd rather say so now
Fabric that light puckers around the stitching and the logo never sits flat — it looks cheap on a shirt that wasn't. On a lightweight tee we'll put you on DTF instead, which holds fine detail, handles full colour and sits softer on the fabric. The store enforces this rule for you, so a lightweight style simply won't offer embroidery as an option.
Common questions
Is there a minimum order for embroidery?
No. One piece is a real order. Under a dozen of a style there's a one-time setup charge on that line, and from a dozen up there is none — the rate card on this page shows both.
How large can an embroidered logo be?
A left chest or pocket logo maxes at four inches square, a sleeve at three inches, and a full chest or back at eleven inches square. The cap front panel takes 4.75″ × 2.2″, and every location's ceiling is in the table above.
Can you match an exact brand colour in thread?
We match to the closest thread in stock, which is usually very close but is not a Pantone match — thread comes in fixed colours. If an exact colour is critical, a printed process will hit it and embroidery won't.
Should I choose embroidery or DTF printing?
Embroidery for caps, polos, jackets and anything that needs to read as corporate. DTF for lightweight tees, fine detail, gradients, photographs, or artwork with more than a few colours.

Pickup at the shop is free on every order.
